This week, I’ve written about recessions, Congress ignoring moms, and the creepy return of 1950s domestic propaganda disguised as Instagram inspo. So yeah, light stuff.
It’s a lot. I know you’re holding a lot, too. Maybe you’re wondering if you should pull your money out of the market. Maybe you’re still mad about Trump bragging in the Oval Office about how much money his friends made from the market dip. Maybe you’re just tired of trying to live a modern life in a country that keeps glamorizing the past.
When everything feels overwhelming, I don’t look for big answers, I look for small actions. The things I can do in ten minutes that move the needle just a little. That reminds me I’m not powerless, even if I feel like I’m shouting into the void.

Better...I attended my first ever local Women of Today meeting this week, inspired by your book to find community. The group has social gatherings and does service projects in the community. I've lived in my town for 18 years and don't really know anyone, but that's going to change!
