Hi Emily! Yes this really resonates. When I was getting my coffee order this morning the young woman said “I like your shirt,” which says March.Organize.Empower. And I said “I’m team Kamala all the way.” She gave me the biggest smile and we both just started laughing.

Careful with the boomer stuff there are a LOT of us boomers that are all about Kamala! Don’t fall into the groove Trump operates in by being insulting or discounting any group. Many of us boomers have bailed on both parties and sit out here politically homeless and are looking for the candidates who stand on the principles of democracy, we believe in principle over party. And we happen to love Kamala. While I do not agree with everything she stands for, she is the better candidate hands down. Many of us boomers are grateful that rather than voting against Trump by voting for Biden, we are actually voting FOR Kamala! HARRIS2024!!

Great reminder and I’m so glad there are people of all age groups in on this enthusiasm! We’ve got to be ALL in for democracy.

I love this Emily!!! I can completely agree that the energy is different. We all have something to be excited about. I love Biden but man it was near impossible to be excited about him. Things feel different. It’s going to be the year of the woman. I have looked into Run for Something to see how I can get involved politically at a low level - bc why not me!! It starts somewhere and it sure is fun to do politics when it’s fun.

Yes! I’m so excited like I’ve never been. I was driving this morning and saw an old Biden Harris sign that was remade in to a Harris is brat sign. I’ve never understood why people love to hang their trump signs… but now I get it. I need a Harris is brat sign on my lawn. I also want to chat her up to anyone who will listen!! We are going to elect a worthy woman as president this year… and she is going to do an amazing job!! If you are reading this and haven’t read her book go do that. She explains her history and her political stances and why.

I agree, keeping engaged with politics have been stressful on and off for me for some time, but much more stressful in the past few months. You are one of the main resources I stay engaged with what is happening. When Kamala became the front runner for the democratic candidate, and I heard some of her political speeches, it reignites some hope for me, very much needed. She 100% has my support, and I could use some laughter, I think we all really could.
