The irony is that reading his drivel about SSRIs made me feel like I needed to increase mine immediately.

Another ironic thing is that the EO also includes stimulants, aka medication for ADHD… and tech bros are notorious for taking stimulants to increase their output of “moving fast and breaking things.” How will Elon’s minions be so productive without their Adderall?

All i know is that I can't even take Ketamine as part of surgery, I don't know how that man is running the country on that drug.

3-4 years?! I mean I know it’s not supposed to make sense at all, but that’s a LONG time.

Thanks for talking me off this particular (metaphorical) ledge. Right now, there are immediate needs in my community that have my focus. We will cross this shit bridge when we get closer to it.

Well looks like the "troubles teen industry" will just a rebrand to "wellness farms." The institutionalizarion of America yout h is already in place and has been legal since the 80s. These facilities already exist in rural Utah and the rural South. They use legal kidnapping, aka transportation services to traffic children across state line with the permission of the child's parents. Maha will just reinforce this current behavior.

I think much of it is the continued control issue. I think back to my post-partum days and I was crazy. I went between crying and raging. I wanted to divorce my husband. I felt powerless because I had a baby with severe acid reflux who screamed 12 hours a day. I was a walking nightmare. Without antidepressants, I don’t know where I would be today or if I would be here. Rational woman who are in control of their lives thanks to antidepressants aren’t subservient to men.

As a farmer this is especially galling considering the very real mental health crisis in the agricultural community. I know there isn’t any point looking for a through line of logic here but one look at the suicide rates among farmers will tell you growing vegetables isn’t a mental health nirvana.

I find it rather ironic that the party that wants to blame many of societies ills on mental health issues, gun violence for example, also wants to pry the tools people use to combat those very same mental health problems away. I mean I logically know it's 100% because they just use mental health as a scapegoat and don't actually care about it at all but I still find it ironic.
