I know it would never happen but I would LOVE it if Griffin were forced to pay at least a portion of the costs incurred by his attempt to steal the seat he lost.

I was one of the 60,000 votes originally challenged by Griffin! I got to change my name and everything. Apparently having four names is too much for them, so now I'm down to three. 😅

THANK YOU EMILY!!!! We worked SO hard on this (from NC) and it’s a HUGE win. Also Justice Riggs is incredible. We need to: get Justice Anita Earls reelected in 2026, then win *at least* 2 of 3 seats in 2028, and then we can draw new maps in 2030. The Earls race is going to be the most important race on the ballot here in 2026. If you want a race to donate to, hers is a great one! If you can’t donate, make sure you follow her on social media and amplify. (Her website is earls4justice.org). Others to follow in NC helping flip the court: @flipnc, @cantwinvictoryfund, and then we have tons of creators here in NC - @momsfornc, @katebarrcantwin, @bullcityindivisible (me), @carolinaforward, @hometownholler, and so many more. Join us! We need all the help we can get. And if we get new maps in 2030, we gain seats in congress.

The Republican majority in this court allowed the NCGA to give 3 additional seats to republicans (went from 7-7 split to 10-4 split). The us Congress had a 3 seat majority to start this term. So drawing new maps means more chance of a majority. The work starts now. We’d love to have you involved from near or afar.

THANK YOU EMILY!!!!

I live in NC as a blue dot in a very red county. It’s been a long battle but finally Justice Riggs wins! NC state politics is extremely corrupt here but we’re gonna keep winning these battles so they need to be ready for us because we’re coming for their jobs. LEAD

I was one of the 734 votes for Riggs! And my cousin's daughter was one of the 65,000 on the list. He should be afraid of her - she's one of the next generation of young women who are going to vote against all the things Griffin stands for.

LEAD. I'm a North Carolinian- my vote wasn't directly affected but we have all been waiting with baited breath to see how this would play out. It's a rare thing to be proud of my state these days, so this has been poignant.

Lead. Love the story about the waitress. And thanks for sharing about Allison Riggs. What a relief! But we will need all the help we can to get Anita Earls elected in 2026. Our NC Republican majority legislature took the power away from our Democrat Governor to oversee the NC Board of Elections and gave this power to our Republican Auditor. The Republican Auditor has now appointed an election denier as the Board of Election’s Executive Director. We need to make sure to start now to get out the vote for Judge Anita Earls for 2026 to avoid these shenanigans in 2026. Flip NC (FlipNC.org) is a great way to get involved!!
