Megyn Kelly is currently going viral, nearing a million views and 75,000 likes, with a rant telling women who care about abortion to, essentially, STFU. She’s smugly implying we are idiots if we think the President of the United States can do anything about the issue and telling us to “accept the half a loaf you’ve been given.”

It’s complete bullshit and she knows it. She’s trying to get women to stay home. It’s a last ditch effort by a Trump supporter to suppress the vote.  She says: 

I want you to know, women who are voting for Kamala because of abortion rights: She cannot pass an abortion law that covers all 50 states. She neither has the power nor the votes to do that. You lost when the Dobbs decision came down. And no Supreme Court is going to overrule Dobbs. They may overrule a precedent of 50 years ago, they’re not going to overrule one that was handed down two years ago. 

She’s blatantly lying and she is also misinformed. I want us to be talking about this today because we need to be armed with talking points to combat this messaging over the next 72 hours.

Kamala can do a lot to fix this terrible reproductive rights quagmire we are now in - and Trump will make it a lot worse.
